Eileen JosephBOLANDBoland, his daughter Kathleen and son-in-law Richard wish to thank all those who supported them during Eileen’s illness over the past two years and following her death on 6th February 2010. Thank you to all who sympathised with us, called to the house, sent floral tributes, Mass or sympathy cards and all who travelled from near and far to attend the funeral. Our thanks also to Dr. Dodson, Dr. Bramhall, Dr. Caddigan and Dr. Spooner, their medical team and all in the oncology department at the Priory Hospital; to Dr. Mudan, Dr. Khan and all the staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London; to the medical staff at Heartlands Hospital; Dr. Michael Abdu and our GP Dr. C Ojukwu for their medical support and advice; the Marie Curie Nurses, Kathleen Mullin, the District Nurses and friends who helped us care for Eileen at home; to John Hedigan, Jimmy Walsh and John Mitchinson for their caring practical support. Our thanks to Fr Paul Devaney, Fr Francis OSB, Fr Andrew McCann, Fr Tony Rohan, Sr Maura, Sr Teresa Paschal and Sr Maureen for their pastoral and spiritual support and for making Eileen’s funeral Mass so special; to Rabbi Wax for his Reading, Brian Jones the organist, Mrs Janet Keegan for the beautiful Mass leaflets and Mrs Anne Grice who served at Mass; to John Painter and his team who organised the funeral and burial with great dignity; to the management and staff at La CC Spanish Tapas Restaurant for catering so well for us on both occasions. You all helped to ease the pain of losing Eileen and to celebrate her wonderful life. Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
